Key Responsibilities

This Mechanical Apprentice position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions. The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.

You will be responsible for:

  • Performing routine maintenance and repairs on passenger rail cars and locomotives
  • Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues
  • Filling out regulatory paperwork and communicating with supervisors
  • Working independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives

Salary Range: $55,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
