Restaurant Server Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Server to join our team at Royal Lahaina Resort. As a Restaurant Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Take orders and deliver food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Manage cash and credit transactions, handling payments and making change as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and high-quality food presentation.
  • Upsell food and beverage items to guests, promoting our menu offerings and specials.
  • Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in a hotel or restaurant environment preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional guest service.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods, with flexibility to work varied shifts and schedules.
