Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a vital member of our healthcare team at Avera St Luke's Hospital, responsible for assisting registered nurses in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist registered nurses in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
- Accountable for all patients assigned to him/her according to established policies and procedures of Avera St Luke's and the scope of practice for the licensed practical nurse
Requirements
- Post high school completion of accredited licensed practical nurse program
- Previous hospital experience, critical care experience preferred
- Current license to practice in the state of South Dakota with expanded role LPN
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday, 72 hours every 2 weeks, with every 3rd weekend/holiday
Compensation
The hourly range for this position is $31.50 per hour, with actual hourly rate dependent upon experience
