This is a full-time, salaried position offering competitive pay ($120,000 per year) along with a comprehensive benefits package.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in transportation hydraulic design and be able to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently. Key responsibilities include performing hydrology/hydraulic analyses for transportation project designs and construction, designing stormwater management systems, and overseeing the planning and design of hydrologic and hydraulic improvements.

We offer a remote work option for qualified candidates who live anywhere within the state of North Carolina. While this position is based in our Raleigh, NC office, you will be responsible for managing and contributing to a wide range of hydraulic and hydrologic design projects. The role requires strong technical skills, including a working knowledge of MicroStation, GEOPAK Drainage, HEC-RAS, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Minimum of 10+ years of transportation hydraulic design experience, with a focus on NCDOT projects.
  • Familiarity with NCDOT Level III certification, Open Roads Designer, and SUDA is a plus.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with industry best practices for hydraulic and drainage design.
