AMT Engineering is seeking a skilled Water Resources Design Engineer to lead water resources engineering tasks for transportation-related projects. Responsibilities include completion of calculations, reports, and plans in support of transportation projects, performing hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, and obtaining permit approvals from state and local agencies. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Water Resources and a minimum of 5 years of experience in water resources related engineering are required. Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and development of water resources projects
  • Hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and reporting
  • Permitting and approvals from state and local agencies
  • Collaboration with transportation design teams
  • Quality assurance and quality control
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Water Resources
  • Minimum 5 years of water resources related experience
  • Hydrology and hydraulic modeling experience
  • North Carolina-licensed Professional Engineer
  • CADD experience with MicroStation/OpenRoads, GeoPAK
