Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide proactive day-to-day client service by anticipating and evaluating client needs and responding to client questions and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Review client exposures, underwriting memos, loss experiences, and current coverages to identify potential risks and opportunities for growth.
  • Advise and counsel clients on complex risk exposures, providing expert guidance and recommendations to mitigate potential losses.
  • Review inspection reports for accuracy and provide proactive direction to resolve claims and prevent future losses.
  • Create and present private risk management renewal proposals and agendas to existing clients, conducting annual interactive reviews as needed.
  • Understand and leverage the holistic platform, including employee benefits, commercial insurance, and asset protection, to provide comprehensive risk management solutions.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with insurance company partners, staying up-to-date on insurer contracts, requirements, and attributes.
  • Maintain a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and completion when interacting with clients, the firm, and insurance company partners to minimize potential for errors and omissions claims.
  • Serve as a market placement specialist, remarketing existing programs to ensure we are keeping pace with clients' needs.
  • Remain current on industry offerings and make proactive recommendations to clients, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills with high attention to detail, identifying opportunities to improve the firm, business segment, and processes.
Requirements:
  • Current Property and Casualty License (or state equivalent) or willingness to obtain within the first 90 days of employment.
  • College degree preferred, with professional designations such as CPCU or CIC a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in personal insurance, including insurance company contracts and guidelines, proprietary insurer systems, and claim knowledge.
