About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residential Mental Health Worker I to join our team at the Department of Mental Health. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to individuals with mental health needs, helping them to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support the mental health and well-being of our clients
  • Provide one-to-one support and guidance to clients, helping them to develop independent living skills and achieve their goals
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a comprehensive and supportive environment for our clients
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health needs; experience in a residential setting a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Flexibility and adaptability; ability to work varied shifts and respond to changing situations
