Position Overview
The Clinical Nurse II in the Neuro Progressive Care Unit plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. This position requires a dedicated professional who can:
- Execute physician directives, administer medications, initiate intravenous therapy, and perform necessary treatments and assessments while adhering to company policies and regulatory standards.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic examinations to accurately identify and monitor patient conditions.
- Assess and evaluate patient requirements and their responses to the care provided.
- Utilize sound clinical judgment in making decisions regarding patient care management.
- Provide primary and urgent care for both work-related and non-work-related injuries and health issues.
- Dispense over-the-counter and prescribed medications as directed.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop comprehensive Care Plans for all patients.
- Guide and oversee support staff while maintaining professional nursing standards.
