About the Role

The Client Service Specialist at Madison Reed Hair Color Bar provides a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure as a liaison between the guests and the rest of the Hair Color Bar team. This is an excellent role for individuals who are passionate about customer service, organizing schedules, recommending products, and working as a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Experience: Provide a smooth check-in experience, introduce guests to their Colorist, and ensure all their hair needs are met.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop expertise on Madison Reed products and services, and educate guests on their benefits.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals and drive Hair Color Bar revenue through additional services, sales of unlimited roots memberships, subscriptions, and home hair care.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Demonstrate and develop teamwork skills to provide a guest experience aligned with Madison Reed's values of Love, Joy, Trust, Courage, and Responsibility.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure the Hair Color Bar meets company standards as it relates to cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and company asset security.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Experience: Entry-level experience in any customer service or retail sales environment, with a preference for salon or beauty industry experience.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Effective communication, strong problem-solving, and people skills in a fast-paced retail or salon environment.
  • Technical Skills: Comfortable operating point-of-sale systems.
