Job Summary:
Novant Health is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join a busy, growing surgical practice in Asheville, NC. This position will assist in general and endocrine surgery as well as seeing pre- and post-surgery patients in the office. We are looking for a patient-focused, compassionate, caring, and honest provider who enjoys a care team approach, educates patients, and is committed to the health and wellness of our patients and communities. Our program focuses on patient care as well as team member care, supporting each other and welcoming personal and professional growth. We are looking for a provider who wants to grow and bring creative and innovative ways to care for our patients and grow our program. Experience with surgical assist is preferred, and RNFA certification is required for NPs or the ability to obtain by 31 December 2024. Call is 1 in 5 along with the surgeon. Our expert surgeons, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants work collaboratively to provide remarkable care to our operative and non-operative patients. The selected APP will be responsible for performing a variety of functions under the supervision of our surgeons. Asheville is a beautiful location with four distinct seasons, offering miles of hiking/biking trails and access to the Blue Ridge Parkway.
