Job Title: Director, Procurement

At Dyne Therapeutics, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Procurement to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the source to pay operations, ensuring that Dyne is routinely sourcing and negotiating its external spend following a standard and efficient process.

The Director, Procurement will be responsible for:

  • Establishing and managing a standard sourcing and contract negotiations process
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to build and manage a pipeline of sourcing initiatives
  • Own the relationship with the MSP, achieving high-quality service levels and internal stakeholder satisfaction
  • Continuously improving the sourcing process to achieve industry standard return on investment
  • Creating and publishing routinely a set of procurement metrics
  • Providing training to the organization, as required
  • Creating and managing a procurement policy, including periodic auditing and compliance
  • Managing subscriptions and software service providers, in partnership with IT
  • Supporting Corporate Social Responsibility and external reporting obligations, as required

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of purchasing/procurement experience in the biotech/pharma industry. They will also have experience with ERP/MRP/Procurement systems, processes, and tools, as well as previous experience of working in a global business with matrix management.
