Position Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for expanding our aftermarket distributor network across the Southwestern three-state region (California, Nevada, Arizona). Your primary focus will be on selling heavy-duty truck and trailer components, including suspension, steering, undercarriage, and fifth wheel products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a detailed multi-year sales strategy that aligns with corporate objectives while continuously seeking opportunities for improvement to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with various departments to enhance product offerings and introduce new programs to our portfolio.
- Establish pricing and promotional strategies aimed at maximizing both revenue and profit margins.
- Partner with management and marketing teams to create promotional materials and participate in industry events such as trade shows.
Candidate Profile:
- A minimum of six to eight years of relevant experience in the commercial vehicle or heavy-duty truck sector, particularly with aftermarket distributors.
- Willingness to travel extensively, up to 60%-70%, with a preference for candidates residing near major airports.
- Established relationships with aftermarket parts distributors are essential.
