Job Description

The Wake Forest University School of Business is seeking a highly qualified candidate for a tenure-track professor of Operations Management. As a member of our faculty, you will be expected to teach and conduct research in operations or supply chain management, with a focus on developing innovative solutions to real-world problems.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have the potential for research synergies with current faculty within the School of Business, such as healthcare, sustainability, or humanitarian supply chains. A Ph.D. (or its equivalent) in Operations/Supply Chain Management or a related field is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and develop courses in operations and supply chain management
  • Conduct research and publish in top-tier journals
  • Develop and maintain a strong research program with potential for external funding
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative curricula and programs
Requirements
  • Ph.D. (or its equivalent) in Operations/Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • Strong research and teaching background in operations and supply chain management
  • Ability to develop and maintain a strong research program with potential for external funding
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
