Job Description

The Wake Forest University School of Business is seeking a highly qualified candidate for a tenure-track professor of Operations Management to start July 1, 2025. We are looking for an individual who can teach and conduct research in operations or supply chain management. Candidates with the potential for research synergies with current faculty within the School of Business (e.g., healthcare, sustainability, or humanitarian supply chains) are of particular interest. A Ph.D. (or its equivalent) in Operations/Supply Chain Management or a related field is required. The position offers a highly competitive package of compensation and benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and conduct research in operations or supply chain management
  • Develop and maintain a research program that contributes to the field of operations management
  • Contribute to the development of the School of Business's curriculum and programs
  • Engage in service activities that support the School of Business and the University
Requirements
  • Ph.D. (or its equivalent) in Operations/Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • Strong research and teaching abilities
  • Ability to contribute to the development of the School of Business's curriculum and programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
