Key Responsibilities- Verify patient identification and physician orders, ensuring accurate and timely completion of CT exams.
- Provide clear and concise procedural information to patients and families, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Acquire and document accurate patient histories, utilizing age-appropriate methods for patients with physical limitations.
- Operate CT imaging equipment with proficiency, performing quality control and quality assurance testing as needed.
- Monitor patients during procedures, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Communicate effectively with medical staff, management, and technical support staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography program.
- 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and additional CT certification required within 1 year of hire.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers from The American Heart Association and/or The American Red Cross.
