As a Respiratory Therapist, you play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, patient-focused respiratory care. Your responsibilities will include conducting diagnostic tests, administering therapies, and monitoring patients on mechanical ventilation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including evaluating breath sounds and airway conditions.
  • Administer respiratory therapies such as oxygen delivery and aerosol treatments.
  • Assist in the placement of artificial airways and manage mechanical ventilation.
  • Monitor patient responses and communicate with healthcare providers as necessary.
  • Support the transportation of patients requiring ventilatory assistance.
  • Respond effectively to emergency situations, ensuring airway integrity during resuscitation.

Qualifications:

  • STABLE certification within 60 months of employment.
  • State Registered Respiratory Therapist credentials.
  • ACLS certification within one year of employment.
  • BCLS certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification within one year of employment.
  • PALS certification within one year of employment.
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a relevant field.
