On-site Performance Improvement Specialist

Vericast is in search of a dedicated Performance Improvement and Learning & Development Specialist to enhance our operational excellence initiatives. In this capacity, the Specialist will:
Foster and sustain a culture of Performance Excellence, particularly focusing on continuous enhancement and both organizational and individual learning within our manufacturing environment.
1. **Leadership Engagement**
- Actively participate as a member of the local Leadership Team, facilitating meetings as necessary.
- Advocate for the Performance Excellence business model within the facility.
- Collaborate with plant leadership to organize and execute local Goal Deployment meetings.
- Assist in the identification and preparation of Goal Deployment action plans and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct quarterly reviews and updates of Goal Deployment Action Plans and KPIs.
- Ensure effective communication of company and local Goal Deployment plans to all employees.
2. **Performance Assessments**
- Support periodic Performance Excellence Assessments, including documentation preparation, conducting evaluations, and developing action plans for improvement opportunities.
3. **Training and Development**
- Oversee the organizational e-learning strategy, encompassing HR compliance and leadership training support.
- Mentor project team leaders and coach them on effective team disciplines.
- Lead initiatives to integrate Performance Excellence concepts within production teams for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
4. **Process Improvement Oversight**
- Manage the administration of the process improvement program, encouraging employee participation and implementation of improvement ideas.
5. **Communication and Engagement**
- Establish and implement effective communication strategies within the location, ensuring bulletin boards and Focus Meetings are current and productive.
- Identify opportunities for improvement based on feedback from Focus Meetings and implement necessary changes.
6. **Certification Program Management**
- Ensure all local certification materials are up-to-date and effectively utilized.
- Address barriers to timely certification and ensure recertification occurs as required.
7. **General Training Coordination**
- Conduct orientation training for new hires and oversee Performance Excellence and leadership training as needed.
- Collaborate with local leadership to document and communicate training requirements.
- Maintain accurate training records and ensure all training documentation is compliant with company standards.
8. **Compliance Training Management**
- Administer the annual compliance training program to achieve 100% completion for all employees by the designated deadline.
9. **Documentation and Tracking**
- Ensure training documentation is developed for new processes and technologies.
- Support employees in managing their learning records within the Learning Management System, producing necessary reports for leadership review.
10. **Additional Responsibilities**
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall goals of the organization.
