Job Title: Junior Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Maintenance Technician to join our team at Sanko Gosei Technologies USA, Incorporated. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our Maintenance Technician and ensuring the effective operation of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Maintenance Technician in ensuring that all staff members adhere to company policies and work procedures.
  2. Ensure good housekeeping and safe work practices are part of everyone's daily work habits.
  3. Assist the Maintenance Technician on repairs in the most efficient manner possible.
  4. Perform repairs to Assembly fixtures as needed with approval from the Maintenance Manager.
  5. Complete preventive maintenance activities as scheduled.
  6. Participate in various technical projects.
  7. Communicate effectively with the Maintenance Technician, Shift Supervisor, Maintenance Manager, and support staff to ensure continuity of efforts.

Requirements:

  1. Strong leadership ability and high ethical and professional standards.
  2. Ability to stand for 12 hours.
  3. Commitment to continuous improvement to meet increasing demands for quality, cost, and delivery performance.
  4. Strong problem-solving skills, both interpersonal and technical.
  5. Organized and structured approach to the work environment with strong attention to detail.
  6. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new technologies.
  7. Ability to handle stressful employee situations and treat people with respect.
  8. Ability to excel in a team-based environment.
  9. Ability to perform in a proactive mode and plan accordingly.

Competencies:

  1. Requires a minimum of 70% on testing of Electrical, pneumatic/hydraulic, Mechanical, Welding/cutting, tooling, and Environmental.
  2. Requires a Crane operating license.
  3. Requires a Fork Lift operating license.
  4. Requires a minimum score of 70% on the Lock out – Tag out (LOTO) Test.
