NACF Capital Finance:
The NACF Capital Finance team is responsible for providing timely and effective financial analysis to support the dual objectives of reducing costs and accelerating delivery within Fulfillment Centers.
Analytical Support:
Our finance professionals deliver analytical insights that range from high-level strategic concepts to detailed financial evaluations, guiding go/no-go decisions on various growth opportunities and initiatives.
Collaborative Partnerships:
We work alongside teams in Fixed Asset/Lease Accounting, Supply Chain, Capital Planning, Real Estate, Engineering, and Construction management.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate for the Finance Manager position will exhibit meticulous attention to detail, an insatiable curiosity, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
Influence and Communication:
The candidate should demonstrate the ability to influence finance and business leaders, facilitate informed decision-making, and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills at a senior executive level, along with a solid sense of ownership and a proven ability to build trust, are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct financial analyses (e.g., forecasts, ROIs) through data collection and analysis to support both quarterly and long-term operational strategies.
2. Engage in month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensuring compliance with Governance, Risk & Compliance protocols.
3. Provide key insights as a trusted source of information regarding financial data, processes, and supported business operations.
4. Utilize active listening skills to communicate data clearly and concisely, both in writing and verbally.
5. Work with various data sources, identifying and resolving data discrepancies, and implementing solutions to enhance finance processes.
Time Management:
Make independent, thoughtful decisions regarding time management, prioritize tasks, resolve issues, meet deadlines, and seek feedback from management.
Team Contribution:
Participate in events and projects, sharing knowledge gained with both your team and beyond. Foster a positive and collaborative environment, serving as a role model for operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science).
- 5+ years of finance experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of finance experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA and/or professional certification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or CPA).
- Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL.
- Experience in forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and data interpretation.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel for ad hoc analysis.
- Experience in building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem-solving.

Our compensation reflects the labor costs across various US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in the lowest geographic market to $179,500/year in the highest. Pay is determined by factors including market location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company, offering equity, sign-on payments, and a comprehensive range of medical, financial, and other benefits as part of the total compensation package.
