Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Operator I to join our team at Panhandle Milling. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products in and out of our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload and store inbound materials and products in a safe and efficient manner
  • Load outbound customer orders onto van trailers, ensuring accurate and timely delivery
  • Perform daily inspections and minor maintenance on equipment and vehicles
  • Manage and complete paperwork for inbound and outbound loads
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and surrounding areas
  • Collaborate with other team members to meet customer expectations and achieve operational goals
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; industrial experience a plus
  • Forklift operating skills and ability to learn new equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Working Conditions
  • Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with exposure to elements such as noise, dust, and varying temperatures
  • May be required to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overtime
