We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Pacu department at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center. As a Pacu nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth transition from the operating room to the recovery room.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients recovering from surgery, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing emotional support.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify potential complications and take proactive steps to prevent them.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and technologies.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
- National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
- One (1) year Nursing experience.
