Job Summary

As a Radiologic Technologist at Froedtert Health, you will play a critical role in preparing patients for imaging procedures, operating imaging equipment, and performing diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and protocols. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure accurate and effective imaging results.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and instructing them on how to hold still during exams
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines and computed tomography scanners, to produce high-quality images
  • Perform diagnostic studies, including CT scans and X-rays, according to specific guidelines and protocols
  • Adhere to organizational customer service standards and support excellence initiatives
  • Provide positive and effective interaction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff
  • Perform ancillary services and assist in patient care areas as necessary
Requirements
  • One year of current clinical experience in each modality is preferred
  • Post-high school completion of an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program is required
  • ARRT registered and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer is required
  • Registered by the ARRT in CT, Mammography, or Bone Density within 18 months of hire/transfer is required
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire
