Job Summary

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in preparing patients for imaging procedures, operating imaging equipment, and performing diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and protocols. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure accurate and effective imaging results. This is a float position that requires flexibility and adaptability, with opportunities to work in various modalities and settings.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and preparing equipment
  • Operate imaging equipment, including CT and diagnostic X-ray machines
  • Perform diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and protocols
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure accurate and effective imaging results
  • Provide positive and effective interaction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff
Requirements
  • Post-high school completion of an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • One year of current clinical experience in each modality (CT and diagnostic X-ray)
  • ARRT registered and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer
  • Registered by the ARRT in CT, Mammography, or Bone Density within 18 months of hire/transfer
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent within 90 days of hire
