Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce timely and precise monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Conduct thorough general ledger analysis and perform account reconciliations.
  • Oversee financial documentation for subsidiaries by assessing balance sheets and ledger accounts.
  • Ensure foreign financial statements are compliant with US GAAP standards.
  • Verify the coding of departmental transactions and general ledger accounts.
  • Execute reconciliations for both domestic and international bank accounts.
  • Prepare recurring and adjusting journal entries.
  • Assist in variance analysis during the closing process.
  • Generate special reports and manage projects to deliver financial insights as required.
  • Establish and maintain global accounting policies.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal teams.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is mandatory.
  • Applicants should possess 1 to 2 years of accounting experience, including general ledger analysis, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and overall proficiency in MS Office are critical.
  • Familiarity with US GAAP standards and experience in aligning international financial statements are vital.
  • The ability to perform bank reconciliations for both domestic and international accounts is necessary.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent organizational abilities, follow-up skills, and attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to create special reports and manage financial projects.
  • Proven capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
  • The ability to develop and maintain global accounting policies.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with internal teams are essential.
  • Maintaining a professional and positive attitude while contributing to the organization is crucial.

Additional Considerations:

  • Experience in public accounting is advantageous.
  • Practical accounting experience is beneficial.
  • International accounting and consolidation experience, along with familiarity with IFRS, is a plus.
