Quarry Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Quarry Manager to oversee the production operations of our quarry site. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient extraction and processing of materials, as well as managing the production process to meet customer demands.
Key Responsibilities- Assure quarry production levels are maintained safely to schedule.
- Closely monitor all areas of production to ensure that extraction and processing work is carried out to the highest standard.
- Assist staff on site in responding to any technical or staffing issues that arise.
- Alter production in accordance with materials required.
- Manage the production process by setting and monitoring performance targets.
- Manage and regulate the Quarry budget.
- Provide information and updates on performance to General Manager and other senior managers as requested.
- Maintain up-to-date records to include inventory, inspection systems, checklists and financials.
- Keep abreast of key government health, safety and environmental regulations assuring they are implemented throughout the Quarry.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assure compliance.
- Assess equipment, order new materials as required, coordinate with internal and external maintenance to address plant and equipment readiness. Assure that all vehicles on site are maintained to good standard.
- Provide continuous coaching, constructive feedback, general work direction and hold team accountable.
- Provide training and development opportunities and work with the team to create development plans.
- Ability to work a flexible shift which will include days, evenings, nights and weekends.
- Pre-employment screening is required before being employed by Callanan Industries, Inc.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- 3+ years supervision experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous work experience with a union shop is preferred.
- Previous use of a planned maintenance system needed.
- Experience with screens and crushers are required.

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, plus bonus opportunities.
