Motion Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Field Technician to join our team. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for visiting our community build sites to set up and troubleshoot various technical equipment, including cable modems, printers, workstations, and satellite internet. You will also provide support for standard service desk issues in our corporate office, such as troubleshooting software, internet connectivity, Active Directory, and other A/V equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure technical equipment at community build sites
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Provide support for standard service desk issues in the corporate office
- Administer Active Directory and O365
- Set up and troubleshoot A/V equipment
- Provide excellent customer service to non-technical staff
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in an IT Support position
- Experience working in the field, setting up new workstations, internet, etc.
- Strong experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Experience administering Active Directory and O365
- Knowledge of common networking protocols and ability to troubleshoot LANs
- Experience setting up A/V equipment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Reliable vehicle for site visits

- Experience setting up StarLink satellite internet
- White glove experience
