Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Experience Associate I, Healthcare PSL to join our team at Magellan Health. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our members and providers, facilitating care and service, and ensuring that our customers receive outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Advocacy: Serve as a customer advocate, supporting our members and providers, and facilitating care and service.
  • Communication: Articulately communicate medical information regarding various services, including educating providers on claims, member eligibility, benefits, EAP services, claim status, and authorization inquiries.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and respond to crisis calls with appropriate resources, and facilitate routine referrals and triage decisions that do not require clinical judgment.
  • Documentation: Comprehensively assemble and enter patient information into the appropriate delivery system.
  • Team Collaboration: Support team members, participate in activities to build a high-performance team, and assume full responsibility for self-development and career progression.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and bring to the attention of responsible entities operations problems and/or inefficiencies, and participate in activities to continuously improve Care Center performance, quality, and culture.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-2 or more years of customer service experience.
  • Skills: Ability to talk and type simultaneously, with attention to detail, and proficiency with keyboard functions and navigation between multiple computer applications.
  • Education: GED, High School, or equivalent.
  • License and Certifications: None required.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, life, and voluntary benefits, as well as a salary range of $31,175 - $46,765. This position may be eligible for short-term incentives and opportunities for career growth and development.
