Role SummarySoliant Education is in search of a committed and enthusiastic School Nurse to join our team for the academic year. This full-time, on-site role is focused on delivering personalized care to a student, ensuring their health and safety throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities- Administer direct nursing care to a student, which includes medication administration, health monitoring, and emergency response.
- Work collaboratively with educators, school personnel, and families to develop and execute tailored health care plans.
- Keep precise and current health records for the student.
- Provide education to the student and their family regarding health management and overall wellness.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for the student within the school.
- Effectively communicate with school staff, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Active RN license in the state of Rhode Island.
- Preferred experience in pediatric or school nursing settings.
- Strong clinical abilities and capacity to manage medical emergencies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dedicated and patient-centered approach to care.
- Able to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
