We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Care Specialist to join our team at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center Crisis Respons. As a Cardiac Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced cardiac environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to cardiac patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and manage cardiac rhythms, including interpretation of EKGs and management of dysrhythmias.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician, including cardiac drips and titration.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Minimum 2 years of experience on the cardiac floor required.
- Traveler experience required unless traveler has more than 24 months of cardiac experience.
- Must pass EKG testing prior to start for this specialty.
- Every candidate will be interviewed.
Our cardiac unit is a fast-paced environment with a high volume of critically ill patients. As a Cardiac Care Specialist, you will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. The unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including Pyxis and EPIC systems.
