This role is pivotal in fostering positive interactions with patients, visitors, hospital personnel, physicians, and fellow biomedical technicians. Upholding the hospital's vision of enhancing childhood health is essential, and the technician must embody values of Integrity, Innovation, Personal Development, and a deep Commitment to Children.
- Educational Requirements
- A minimum of an Associate degree or certificate in Biomedical Equipment Technology (2-year program) is required.
- Professional Experience
- At least two years of experience in Clinical Engineering is necessary.
- Candidates must meet one of the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in a Health-Related Science
2. AAMI Biomedical Equipment Technician Certification (CBET)
3. Documented training in specialized equipment servicing as determined by the Director of Biomedical Engineering.
