Job Overview

DME Express LLC is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Equipment Delivery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up medical equipment to patients in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine the most efficient daily route to deliver medical equipment to patients
  • Assemble and deliver all necessary equipment, educating patients and their families on proper use
  • Ensure compliance with DOT and FDA regulations regarding oxygen and DME
  • Maintain stock levels and cleanliness in the warehouse and delivery vehicle
  • Supervise Medical Equipment Technicians to ensure adherence to company and accreditation standards
  • Provide patient/client orientation and instructions on equipment use
  • Work with patients to resolve issues and act as a company field representative
  • Complete delivery and pickup processes through our app promptly and accurately
  • Assist with equipment cleaning, disinfecting, and minor repair
  • Perform daily preventive maintenance on assigned vehicles
  • Maintain a neat and clean personal appearance
  • Promote teamwork among colleagues, assisting as needed
  • May be required to work Saturdays and Sundays on a rotating schedule
  • Take on-call time on a rotating basis during the week and weekends
  • Perform warehouse and office maintenance tasks as required
  • Demonstrate timeliness, courtesy, sincerity, and patience when working with clients
  • Market the company in a positive and professional manner at all times

Requirements:

  • Positive attitude at all times
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds on a daily basis
  • Clean driving record
  • Acceptance of other duties and activities as assigned
  • COVID-19 precautions in place, including personal protective equipment, temperature screenings, and social distancing guidelines
