Key Responsibilities:
  • Staff Development and Supervision: Recruit, interview, and train staff in all areas, including fire safety and evacuation procedures, household operations, record-keeping/charting, incident reporting, grocery shopping/meal preparation, finances, regulations, and licensing.
  • Program Coordinator/Program Development: Complete individual evaluations, attend team meetings, serve as a liaison between programs and professional staff, ensure completion of all documentation in a timely fashion, evaluate individual programs for effectiveness, and recommend changes to the QDDP.
  • Recordkeeping: Supervise the timely and accurate completion of staff's paperwork, complete required daily, weekly, and monthly paperwork requirements, monitor records to ensure files are complete and up to date, and complete required licensing documentation and paperwork.
  • Direct Service: Provide direct care to clients whenever the need arises, oversee and assist with activities of daily living, including personal care, medication management and administration, community outings, money management, nutrition, interpersonal relations, and household tasks.
  • Case Management Services: Oversee the person-centered program planning through the supervision, development, and management of the ISA, coordinate appointments with other providers as needed, complete necessary documentation in a timely fashion, and assist individuals and staff in the identification of strengths, needs, and goals.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3-5 years' relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Windows software skills, both typing and navigating, and e-mail usage.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Must become delegated by DS RN to pass medications for specified residents within 6 months of employment.
