Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Technician to join our team in a client-focused environment. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, executing precise specimen collections, and representing our organization with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct blood draws using venipuncture and capillary methods for patients of all ages.
2. Collect specimens for various tests including drug screenings and paternity evaluations.
3. Accurately enter patient data in a timely manner.
4. Process billing information and handle payments as necessary.
5. Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and analysis.
6. Maintain logs of patient and specimen information.
7. Provide exceptional service to all patients.
8. Perform administrative and clerical tasks as required.
9. Travel to additional locations as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Phlebotomy certification from an accredited organization.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a phlebotomist, working with patients of all ages.
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment or collaboratively within a team.
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record, if applicable.
- Flexibility to work overtime when necessary.
- Must be able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
