Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Research Specialist to join our team in Flint, MI. This role involves conducting Quality Control (QC) and Research & Development (R&D) for our product lines. The successful candidate will perform daily laboratory quality functions aligned with our business strategy and purpose.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing daily laboratory quality functions, including Quality Control testing and analysis of raw materials and completed batches
  • Maintaining batching records and retain sampling
  • Creating Certificates of Analysis for finished batches
  • Assisting in product specifications, regulatory compliance, and safety procedures
  • Maintaining Material Safety Data Sheets for both finished products and raw materials
  • Coordinating with purchasing to evaluate new raw materials and maintaining an up-to-date database of approved products
  • Adhering to Environmental/Quality Management Procedures
  • Adhering to Manufacturing Operating Instructions, Sales Operating Instructions, and Purchasing Operating Instructions
