Job Description

At Shockwave Medical, we are seeking a highly skilled Traveling Field Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical support team, you will play a critical role in providing case support to physicians within certain territories.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical research, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and regulatory compliance guidelines for clinical trials. You will be responsible for training physicians and hospital staff on the safe and effective use of our medical devices, as well as ensuring timely data collection for clinical programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide case support to physicians within certain territories
  • Train physicians and hospital staff on the safe and effective use of our medical devices
  • Ensure timely data collection for clinical programs
  • Partner with other clinical research colleagues to meet business needs in the field
  • Administrative activities including training procedures, manage territory travel and budgets

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in business, science, nursing or related fields, or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of clinical research, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory compliance guidelines for clinical trials
  • A history of effective collaboration with regulatory agencies through clinical studies and market releases
  • Product knowledge including product vigilance and medical device reporting
  • Computer skills (MS Office products, word processing, spreadsheets, etc.)
