Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Supervisor to lead our Postpartum team at Verovian Agency in Austin, Texas. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will oversee the delivery of exceptional postpartum care services, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes and staff development.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to join our team as a Postpartum Manager RN Nights. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the nursing staff within the Postpartum unit, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the nursing staff within the Postpartum unit
  • Oversee patient care activities within the unit, ensuring compassionate, patient-centered, and high-quality care delivery for mothers and newborns
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Postpartum Unit, including resource allocation, equipment maintenance, and inventory management
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards related to postpartum care services
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize postpartum care services
Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required; a Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or a related field is preferred
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience in maternal-child health, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred
  • Certification in Maternal Newborn Nursing (RNC-MNN) is preferred
Salary and Benefits
