Job Description

The Postpartum Manager RN will be responsible for leading the interdisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient staff management. This role involves collaborating with lactation consultants to provide a positive patient experience.

Requirements
  • BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
  • Active RN license in the state of Texas or compact license with the ability to obtain a Texas license
  • 1+ year of experience in a healthcare setting
  • 1+ year of experience in a supervisory role
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Ability to obtain Specialty Certification within 6 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring), or RNC-OB (Registered Nurse Certified - Obstetrics) certifications
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in postpartum care and couplet care models
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory and accreditation standards
