Key Responsibilities- Provide accurate and timely information to customers in person, via phone, and through email.
- Process permit and transit pass sales applications, citation payments, and update customer accounts.
- Prepare online orders, temporary permits, and other materials as needed.
- Assist with quarterly and annual processes, including balancing cash and using detailed maps.
- Compose correspondence and use basic math skills to complete manual and electronic forms.
- Respond to email inquiries and coordinate information for maintaining various logs, files, and reports.
- One to two years of customer service experience in a frontline service environment.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and rapidly expanding university department.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and other negotiable instruments.
- Experience in a customer service role, preferably in a function providing parking permits and general information.
- Experience answering phones and providing information to customers in a high-volume service environment.
- Evidence of effective verbal and written professional business communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
This position is located in an environmentally controlled office setting and requires extended periods of sitting, keyboarding, and manipulating a computer mouse. Ability to clearly communicate and perform essential functions is required.
