Atrium Health is seeking a visionary Internal Medicine Physician to lead our Myers Park Internal Medicine team as Site-Based Medical Director. As a key member of our academic healthcare system, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of medicine.

About the Role

This is a full-time faculty position with a minimum of 70% ambulatory clinical time, 10% administration, and 20% negotiable for academic/research interests. You will work closely with our Clinic leadership team to provide exceptional patient care and lead our team of physicians, APPs, and residents.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and mentor residents and medical students
  • Develop and implement relevant curricula
  • Participate in research and academic pursuits
  • Supervise APPs and provide clinical guidance
  • Collaborate with Clinic leadership to drive quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician
  • Leadership experience or desire to lead
  • Passionate about caring for underserved, medically complex patients
  • Committed to medical education and collaboration
