Daily Responsibilities:
As a Senior Mobility Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, deployment, and maintenance of mobility solutions for a government client.
- Identify and propose enhancements to existing processes and procedures.
- Formulate and execute quality assurance and control strategies.
- Investigate, design, and implement security measures for mobile devices and mobility infrastructure.
- Evaluate, analyze, and optimize performance, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Monitor and report on identified vulnerabilities within information systems.
- Keep the client informed about emerging mobile technologies and the latest networking standards.
- Analyze system designs to aid in resolving network-related issues.
- Establish and uphold procedures to ensure ongoing system reliability.
- Utilize knowledge of standards, policies, and practices in system engineering and documentation.
- Conduct research and analysis to assist in resolving operability and interoperability challenges.
- Apply process improvement methodologies such as the Capability Maturity Model.
- Provide necessary data for audits.
- Manage the issuance and return of property.
Success Factors:
- Build and maintain effective professional relationships with management, staff, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Communicate complex information clearly and logically, both verbally and in writing.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 10 years of relevant experience or 12 years of experience (with 2 years of experience substituting for a degree).
- Proficiency in mobile applications, mobile device management, mobile VPN technologies, and cloud-based infrastructure.
- Experience with Workspace ONE Mobile Device Management.
- Familiarity with AirWatch.
- Eligibility to obtain a Top Secret clearance (with polygraph).
- Successful completion of a background check and any additional investigation requirements prior to employment.
