Daily Responsibilities:

As a Senior Mobility Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, deployment, and maintenance of mobility solutions for a government client.

  • Identify and propose enhancements to existing processes and procedures.
  • Formulate and execute quality assurance and control strategies.
  • Investigate, design, and implement security measures for mobile devices and mobility infrastructure.
  • Evaluate, analyze, and optimize performance, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and report on identified vulnerabilities within information systems.
  • Keep the client informed about emerging mobile technologies and the latest networking standards.
  • Analyze system designs to aid in resolving network-related issues.
  • Establish and uphold procedures to ensure ongoing system reliability.
  • Utilize knowledge of standards, policies, and practices in system engineering and documentation.
  • Conduct research and analysis to assist in resolving operability and interoperability challenges.
  • Apply process improvement methodologies such as the Capability Maturity Model.
  • Provide necessary data for audits.
  • Manage the issuance and return of property.

Success Factors:

  • Build and maintain effective professional relationships with management, staff, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Communicate complex information clearly and logically, both verbally and in writing.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 10 years of relevant experience or 12 years of experience (with 2 years of experience substituting for a degree).
  • Proficiency in mobile applications, mobile device management, mobile VPN technologies, and cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Experience with Workspace ONE Mobile Device Management.
  • Familiarity with AirWatch.
  • Eligibility to obtain a Top Secret clearance (with polygraph).
  • Successful completion of a background check and any additional investigation requirements prior to employment.
