Treasury Operations Manager

The Treasury Manager at Cinemark is a key role that oversees the day-to-day functions of the Cash Management group and provides overall support to management. This position requires a strong analytical and strategic mindset to perform in-depth analysis of financial information, prepare analysis of cash management operations and processes, and prepare reports to assist management in making strategic and operational decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily functions of the Treasury department, ensuring efficient and effective cash management operations.
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain internal controls for the department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate and enhance the cash receipt and disbursement process, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Oversee daily investments of excess cash, considering expanding to additional investment vehicles to maximize returns.
  • Prepare and present cash flow forecasts and reports to various departments, ensuring timely and accurate information.
  • Collaborate with FP&A to ensure proper alignment for budget and forecasting of Treasury-related items.
  • Mentor and grow the Treasury team, developing their skills and expertise in Treasury activities.
  • Develop working relationships with international teams and assist with Treasury-related items and banking relationships.
  • Administer online banking platforms, ensuring compliance with Cinemark's policies and procedures.
  • Create and manage annual reviews of processes, policies, and procedures, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Participate in ad-hoc Treasury projects, providing expertise and support as needed.
  • Work closely with partnered financial institutions and Treasury providers to enhance services, manage relationships, and explore new ventures.

Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will be a high-energy individual with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. They will be a self-starter who can adapt to and maintain outstanding customer service in a changing environment.
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional leadership and development skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
  • Proven relationship management skills, with the ability to establish credibility with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, with 5-8 years of experience in Treasury Services, Cash Management, and Banking Services.
