Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, with a minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in accounting or finance management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. CPA or MBA is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of general ledger account reconciliation and capital budgeting, along with familiarity with federal, state, and local reporting requirements and regulations pertaining to financial operations.
  • Ability to interpret gaming regulatory requirements, with prior gaming experience preferred. Familiarity with payroll information management systems is advantageous, and experience with Great Plains software is a plus.
  • Proven leadership capabilities and a strong customer service orientation.
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Products, with proficiency in Excel for data analysis, customization, and advanced functions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interpret various forms of instructions.
  • Capability to obtain and maintain a Gaming Commission license, and pass background checks and drug screening.

  • Generate reports related to casino business activities and financial status, focusing on income, expenses, and earnings.
  • Support budget preparation and monitor budgetary plans to achieve property goals.
  • Participate in business planning sessions and financial reviews, contributing to forecasts and strategic discussions.
  • Coordinate the monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
  • Prepare documentation for audits and reports required by regulatory agencies.
  • Facilitate accounts payable processes to ensure timely and accurate invoice management.
  • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Adhere to established accounting procedures and perform additional duties as assigned.
