As an Ambulatory Care Specialist at Penn Medicine, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality care to patients. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Promptly preparing patients for visits, reviewing their medical history, and documenting necessary information in our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Providing direct patient care through performance of technical tasks, such as obtaining vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs).
  • Assisting patients with specimen management, including phlebotomy and laboratory testing, and documenting results in the EMR system.
  • Supporting minor surgical procedures by maintaining a sterile field, positioning patients, and handing instruments to medical staff.

You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a comprehensive compensation package, including a competitive salary range of $43,000 - $63,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
