Program Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Assistant to support the effective operation of our programs. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Programs and Director of Community Affairs & Partnerships to ensure seamless program administration, documentation, and communication with partner schools and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the Director of Programs, including maintaining program records, coordinating logistics, and managing relationships with partner schools.
- Assist with the development and implementation of program initiatives, including project management, event planning, and communication with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with senior program staff to ensure effective program operations, including maintaining inventory, coordinating with operations, and managing program resources.
- Support the Program Director in fostering positive relationships with partner schools, including maintaining updated inventory, coordinating with operations, and managing program resources.
- Assist with the documentation of program activities, including maintaining program calendars, music teacher resource websites, and email communications.
- Bachelor's degree in Music, Music Education, English, Communications, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in nonprofit/arts administration, including project management, event planning, and communication with stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including partner schools, staff, and community members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and other software applications, including Adobe, Canva, and Lucidchart.
- Experience working in under-resourced communities, including internships, volunteer work, or previous employment.
- Prior experience building school music and/or arts programs, including curriculum design and implementation.
- Fluency in Spanish, with the ability to provide high-quality translation support and facilitate communication in both English and Spanish.
The Program Assistant will work in an office environment with regular travel to partner schools and stakeholders throughout Los Angeles County. Occasional travel outside of Los Angeles may be required. The successful candidate must be able to use their own vehicle for work purposes and be reimbursed by ETM-LA.
Benefits- Competitive hourly rate, dependent on qualifications.
- Full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime required for special events.
