Vitamin Department Manager

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vitamin Manager to lead our Vitamin Department. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for driving sales and operations of the Vitamin Department, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of our store.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the sales and operation of the Vitamin Department, including ordering product and managing inventory control.
- Work with the Buyer and Store Manager to determine inventory based on frequent evaluation of sales reports and current market trends.
- Engage and evaluate team members through coaching, feedback, and one-on-one development discussions, and make recommendations on merit increases via completing the bi-annual performance review process.
- Take and document corrective actions when needed, including collaboration with business and HR partners in managing performance to include coaching, counseling, progressive discipline, suspension, or termination when needed.
- Communicate standards, expectations, policy changes, and product knowledge to team members.
- Lead a team that collaborates to deliver the finest quality of product, highest level of service, and the greatest experience for our customers.
- Perform general housekeeping in the department and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Be able to walk a total of up to 5 miles in an 8-hour shift and perform tasks that require standing for long periods.
- Achieve and maintain a Food Handlers permit.
- Work a flexible schedule that changes as the business changes, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Possess a working knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers, and financial goals.
- Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Be able to communicate effectively with team members, customers, and management.
