Job Summary

Temple Health is seeking a highly skilled Orthopedic Technician Assistant to support our orthopedic surgeons in outpatient offices and clinics. As a key member of our team, you will interact with medical assistants, athletic trainers, physician assistants, physicians, and other support staff to ensure seamless patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare for visits, taking vital signs and rooming patients as needed.
  • Assist in scheduling procedures and surgeries in office and in the OR/procedure suite.
  • Support regulatory readiness, inventory, and stocking.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient and provider needs are met.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
  • Completion of an accepted Medical Assistant/Othopedic Tech program (Required)
  • 1 year of orthopedic experience in a healthcare setting (Required)
  • BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
  • CMA - Certified Medical Assistant (Required) or CCMA - Cert Clin Medical Assistant (Required) or RMA - Registered Medical Assistant (Required) or OTC - Ortho Tech Certified (Required)
