Orthopedic X-Ray Technologist Job Description

Fast Pace Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopedic X-Ray Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and imaging services in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform X-ray exams and procedures on patients, ensuring accurate and high-quality images.
  • Assist orthopedic providers with patient assessments and examinations, applying casts, splints, and other orthopedic devices as needed.
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient intake, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Educate patients on device care, mobility restrictions, and follow-up appointments, promoting excellent patient communication and education.
  • Perform phlebotomy, lab testing, and other basic nursing tasks, ensuring accurate and timely results.
  • Monitor and track X-ray orders, ensuring timely completion and submission of images.
  • Assist patients with proper positioning during exams, ensuring diagnostic-quality images.
  • Review exam images for initial read by providers, sending final images to radiology groups for over-read.
Requirements:
  • 1+ year of experience as a certified Radiologic Technologist.
  • Indiana Residents Only: Limited Scope License requires a State License and proof of ARRT License.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
