Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Esri. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing business results and providing insights into the performance of key initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Establish frameworks to evaluate key initiatives and their efficacy, develop and/or enhance financial models for reporting, reviewing results, and forecasting.
  • Reporting and Presentations: Prepare and present analyses, findings, and executive reports, including strategic reviews with senior executives.
  • Data Extraction and Analysis: Extract data from various databases and perform sophisticated analysis that results in actionable business insight.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Interact with management at all levels to facilitate information gathering and collaborate with budget owners to coordinate annual plan and forecast inputs.
  • Financial Statement Modeling: Provide ad hoc financial statement modeling and in-depth analysis to drive intelligent decision making.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2 years relevant experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs, excellent interpersonal skills, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Education: Bachelors in finance, accounting, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical Skills: Experience working with SAP, analytical reporting tools, SQL, and relational databases.
  • Education: Masters degree in finance, accounting, or related field, CFA or CPA certification.
