Role Summary
Located in our North American office, this position encompasses all aspects of human resources. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, COO, and CFO, you will collaborate with the HR Manager based in our UK Head Office to ensure the implementation of HR best practices and the delivery of an effective global HR strategy.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Establishing and maintaining appropriate HR systems, policies, and procedures to protect the organization and ensure compliance in all personnel-related matters.
- Ensuring adherence to employment legislation and updating policies to accurately reflect current practices.
- Facilitating talent development and implementing a Learning & Development function that aligns with the broader business needs.
- Coordinating and managing the orientation process for new employees.
- Collaborating with the UK office HR to ensure alignment with company values.
- Providing coaching and support to managers to enhance their team management capabilities.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a highly driven and knowledgeable HR Generalist. In this role, you will provide expert guidance and support on various HR issues to both staff and management. The ideal candidate will possess the enthusiasm and commitment to make a significant impact. To qualify for this position, you should have:
- A minimum of 5 years of HR advisory experience with a solid understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
- A professional HR qualification, such as Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to cultivate effective relationships at all organizational levels.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Knowledge of employment law across multiple US states is a distinct advantage.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range of $70,000 - $80,000 based on experience.
