Production Cell Technician

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Interprets technical documents such as blueprints, schedules, and process instructions to execute assembly tasks.
  2. Assesses production timelines and organizes necessary materials, tools, and equipment to ensure workflow efficiency.
  3. Manages inventory and oversees the storage of components.
  4. Facilitates the flow of materials by issuing Kan Ban cards to relevant departments.
  5. Coordinates the movement of items between various storage locations and workstations.
  6. Completes and submits necessary documentation including requisitions and inventory tickets.
  7. Identifies and verifies material quantities, reporting any shortages or quality issues.
  8. Establishes and maintains the work cell environment.
  9. Adjusts tools and equipment as needed, conducting operational checks to uphold quality standards and notifying supervisors of any discrepancies.
  10. Performs routine maintenance tasks on equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.
  11. Provides training to new and existing staff on effective operational procedures within the work cell.
  12. Adheres to safety protocols and maintains a clean and organized workspace.
  13. Utilizes computer systems to monitor order statuses and production schedules.
  14. Undertakes additional related responsibilities as required.
Position Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in light mechanical or electrical assembly preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of power tools, hand tools, and various assembly equipment.
  • Demonstrates mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and sound judgment.
